Lotte World

"I wanna got to an amusement park. I'll buy the tickets, you'll buy food. Okay?"
And so I ended up to Lotte World.

Theme parks here, and probably everywhere else but in Finland, are designed to feel like fantasy world and I can't help but admire the effort they have made to build this kind of places. Even the workers' outfits are so cute.

This was my second time in Lotte World and way better.
Last time it was raining half the day so people stayed only indoors which meant long lines to every single ride. When it stopped raining people went outside where the more extreme, my favorite, rides are. I thought this time there would be as many people since it was the last weekend before schools start but I was pleasantly surprised.

Blueberry&herb and melon ice crem

All the restaurants are quite high priced so we brought our own kimbap with us and only bought ice cream for dessert. After a long day running all around we just left to eat real food outside.

Can't do it single

Selfie stick is the best way to waste time while waiting for the rides.

How Are You?

Good Morning from Seoul!

I love to wake up when it's all light and sun shining outside. Even tho wind makes the weather here super cold it feels more like a spring than winter. No snow. No slippery roads. Some Koreans also wear really light clothes that I can just wonder.

I'm gonna catch cold.

Life has been good so far. We're staying in the Kimchee Hongdae guest house and the people here are so welcoming they become your best friends in only few days. Last night we watched the Penguins of Madagascar together till 4 AM and chatted about random things. Wish you could meet these guys too.

On the very 2nd day, here after partying hard the previous night, we found an apartment for us!! It's Villa-style building in Ehwa - Idae, really small but perfect for us. We're moving in on 26th day so I'll take photos of it later. Moon and Roy from Zip Housing helped us to sign the contract and been a really big help in every way.

I've had some problems downloading photos here so this is it for this time !
Let's see if I can fix this so

Good Bye

Good byes are not forever.
Good byes are not the end.
They simply mean I miss you until we meet again.

Writing has never been one of my strong points, even tho I really do enjoy telling my stories.
Year 2015, My year, has came and only 5 days till my flight to Seoul leaves. I didn't know leaving would be this hard. That's what I've always wanted. Leave Finland. But now when it would be time to go I suddenly notice all the little things I like here. My friends become more important. When has mom's food and advises been so good?

But at the same time I can't wait for the freedom. To do what I want whenever I want. Even closed shops can't stop me cause there's no closed shops. Tho my budget for next coming 6 months is so small I most probably can't afford anything extra. Except soju

I was planning to start vlogging cause it's more artsy so I though it might be more like my thing.
Only problem is language. I didn't plan to talk much anw.
Finnish would be the easiest and oh the jokes.
But I'd also like to try Korean and add English subs.
I don't know what to do.

Not Too Many Days Left in Finland

Resigned from work today.
Only a few working days left, As weird as it sounds I'm gonna miss my regulars.

Strawberry ice cream granny who always, despite how long the line is, stays over the cash desk talking about weather, our teenagers who think are so grown ups, smelly middle-aged man who comes twice a day and every time writes down who's working
(he describes us by adjectives I'm called small and chubby)
Young boy who has an obvious crush on me,
Our drunkards and druggies who sometimes are nice,
but sometimes threatens us or our customers with needles or so.

Believe me,
those who have worked in a fast food restaurant for over a year are the best ones to lie and act nice in any situation.

I just wonder if they will remember me after I'm gone to Seoul.

To Keep You Off My Mind

When was the last time you played robbers and cops?
Primary school?

Went to Sweden with friends and I can tell, a ship is the best place to play that kind of games.

On our way to Stockholm there were 3 Finnish girls at the same ship with us.
Obviously K-pop fans with their Exo caps and .. you know, just that kind of look.
They couldn't stop staring at our Korean guys so they were just stalking and following us from place A to B
It was kinda creepy, someone said they even bowed when the guys walked past them

It was really pleasant trip. Nothing too special, just sightseeing
cause most of the Koreans had came from London and never been to Sweden.
I'm getting more confident speaking in Korean - even sober lol

I guess I never mentioned it here, but there was a Korean speech contest in spring and guess who got the first place?
( v ̄▽ ̄)
I'm so proud.

Victoria's Secrets' Noir tease. My lost love.
In Christmas on our way to Bali tried that for the first time in HK airport.
Stupid me didn't buy it so now when accidentally noticed they were selling the same perfume in the ship totally had to get it.

Two Heads Are Better Than One

How to roast marshmallows:  5 Steps

1. Build Fire. Start with lighting candles and set them on a platter.

2. Choose the right spot (Preferably a sofa or a footstool ) Place the platter on it.

3. Poke a marshmallow onto the stick

4.Rotate your roasting utensil above the fire to evenly heat and toast the marshmallow

5. Enjoy (While watching tv)

Spent the rainy midsummer at Julia's place doing nothing but being lazy and eating.
We finally bought our plane tickets to Seoul, so now it's kinda official, we're moving there on January.

I'm a bit worried how fast we will burn our apartment to the ground if we keep getting as great ideas as roasting marshmallows on sofa tho
